| In my lifetime, I've backpacked in the Sierras, Rockies, Appalachians; stood on north & south rims of Grand Canyon; visited most nat'l parks & monuments in Utah and dozens of others; tumbled down the Great Sand Dunes; explored Mesa Verde, Canyon de Chelly, and Betatakin; gone to the tops of World Trade Center, Empire State Bldg, and Statue of Liberty; swum in Atlantic and Pacific; wandered through Yellowstone, Garden of the Gods, Yosemite upstairs & down, Gettysburg, Vicksburg, Arlington, Great Smoky Mts.; toured the White House, the Winchester Mystery House, Hearst Castle, NY's FAO Schwartz, Mt. Vernon, and a variety of CA missions; marveled at Monterey Bay Aquarium, the Smithsonian, New York's Museum of Natural History; and more more more.
I've been to Australia, Canada, England, and Hawaii, which feels rather limited for The Rest of The World. I hope to start remedying that soon. Here's my attempt to capture some of my activities and to display photos (mostly my own) of these places. |
